Google Maps launches three new public transport features|YouApp

   Google map with three new features that are useful for public transport. Google Maps will provide information on the real time travel and information of autos , bus and railways systems. These facilities will be first available in ten cities in India.

Google Maps users can now view bus travel times based on live traffic. This uses Google’s live traffic data and public bus schedules to calculate delays and provide accurate travel times


The service will be available at Delhi, Bangalore , Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Lucknow, Chennai, Mysore, Coimbatore and Surat.

The live information on the train journey is also known in Google Maps. This service currently provides other apps. This information is available on train timings, late trains and train status. Google is providing this service with the help of the "Where is my Train"  app that Google has acquired last year.

The Google map provides the autorickshaw live status .It will also indicate how much time it will take, and which station they should take an auto-rickshaw to/from. They can also see the rickshaw meter estimate, and departure times for their transit connection. This feature will be available for Delhi and Bangalore initially before rolling out to more cities later.
